As the Texas Commercial Realty Broker, Cheryl Chinen has set high goals and expectations for herself and the team. Our full-service boutique brokerage takes great pride in the meaningful client relationships, excellent customer service, and quality brokerage marketing and advice we provide to our clients.
Cheryl Chinen has been actively involved in many facets of the real estate industry for over two decades. Her long history of involvement in the commercial real estate industry began when she worked for the U.S. Army in South Korea as the financial/construction division head, with responsibilities including the construction of recreation facilities, restaurants, and multi-purpose buildings. In her role at the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), she gained additional experience and insight working with institutions nationwide on
construction grants. Cheryl also worked with U.T. Health, helping grow their medical presence in the Texas Medical Center and surrounding communities by helping secure the purchase of land, buildings, and retail office space and negotiating physician office leases across the Houston-Galveston area. In addition to working with retail, office, and specialty clients, Cheryl works with investment and developer clients on the sales and purchases of properties to larger retail shopping centers and office buildings.
Cheryl grew up in the Houston area and returned after several wonderful work opportunities abroad. She earned her MBA from the University of Maryland. Cheryl is working on her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. She is active in the community and is involved in community organizations and charities. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
